You know that car horns are affected by physics from the moment you hear them to the moment they pass you. But do you know how? From the Doppler effect to the Intensity of sound there would be no sound without physics.
I remember learning about the Doppler effect earlier in the year and this was a great look at the theory to a more in depth extent. Very interesting and helpful project!
Wow! We learned about the doppler effect in school, but I found it interesting that you applied the doppler effect in different scenarios than we had seen before (such as when both the car and the person were moving in opposite directions)! Great Job!
Sarah, I loved this project. Learning about the Doppler Effect (a concept we had discussed in class) in relation to a real-life thing was very helpful and informative. I also enjoyed your concept map and concise abstract.

ReplyDeleteAwesome project, great idea with including all of the different formulas, was very helpful.
ReplyDeleteGreat project! I now have a better understanding of how the doppler effect works, very helpful.
ReplyDeleteThis didn't only help me by learning about this but better helped me understand the way of a car horn.
