Dance in physics

Abstract:

Physics plays an essential role in dance.  Dancers need to rely on the laws of physics so they can be better dancers overall.  The laws of physics can help a dancer turn faster, jump higher and balance longer.  If a dancer were to not follow the laws of physics, they could potentially get hurt and ruin their career.  Momentum is a very important part of dance because dancers need momentum when turning and in some cases, jumping.  Myself along with my dance peers follow these laws precisely.  We are now able to balance longer because of the laws of gravity.  Now, more people can understand how dancers do what they do but still be amazed.

  1. Hey Julia great presentation! I was extremely fascinated by the way in which the dancers are able to maintain their balance using the center of axis. Great job!

  2. This was so interesting, I think it could be a little more lengthy. Decent overall. Changed my life though.
