Physics in Slingshots
Abstract- Slingshots are simple devices that are used to launch a small projectile, although appearing very simple in function slingshots utilize a number of physics principals. The drawing of the sling back represents Hooke's Law due to its elasticity. Once finding all the factors of force and velocity the findings are used in determining projectile motion, and determining on the angle that the projectile is launched one can find the range of the slingshot.

ReplyDeleteThis was a really presentation, i never knew how much physics was involved in something like a slingshot.
ReplyDeleteWow what an interesting presentation. i learned a lot!
